Arriving and checking in
Checking in takes about twenty seconds. Bring your booking code.
The check-in tablet
There’s a tablet at the front desk. Tap the glowing orb, enter your booking code — or your phone number, if the code isn’t to hand — confirm it’s you, and you’re in.
If you’d like a paper ticket, you can print one at the end. It has your code, your space and your times on it.
The tablet only ever looks up one booking — the one you type. It can’t list who else is in the building, by design: it sits in a public room.
Or ask reception
Reception can check you in by hand at any time. Do that if the tablet is busy, if your code isn’t working, or if anything looks wrong.

On a team booking, use your code
If you were added to someone else’s booking, use the code we emailed you — not the one the organiser got. Yours checks in you; theirs checks in them. It means you can arrive whenever suits you.
If the tablet won’t take your code
A few ordinary reasons, and what to do:
“This booking still needs payment.” The booking is held but hasn’t been paid for. See reception — they’ll take it at the desk and your code works immediately after.
“That booking is for [another day].” Codes only work on the day of the booking. Reception can move it if you need today instead.
“I couldn’t find that one.” Check the code against your confirmation email — codes never contain the letters O or I, or the digits 0 and 1, precisely so they don’t get misread. Try your phone number instead, or see reception.
Nothing at all? If you cancelled or were refunded, the code stops working. Reception can book you back in.
Getting online
Checking in is also what switches on your Wi-Fi. Join the workspace network, and a sign-in page opens asking for two things:
- The name on your booking, as you gave it when you booked.
- Your booking code, the same
RW-code you used at the tablet.
Capital letters and extra spaces don’t matter. It works on one device at a time: to move from your phone to your laptop, sign out on the phone first.
How long it lasts. A day, week or month pass is online until closing at 6pm. An hourly booking gets the hours you booked, counted from when you check in, so arriving twenty minutes late doesn’t cost you twenty minutes. It still ends at closing time.
Coming back later the same day? Book again and check in again. Once your earlier time has ended, you sign in with the same name as before.
If someone else with your name is in today, your sign-in name has the last two characters of your booking code added after it. Reception can read you the exact one.
If the sign-in page refuses you, check in first, then try again. If it still won’t take you, reception can see your Wi-Fi login and whether it’s ready.
