Posting a job

A job request is how you tell RAiN exactly what you want built. You can post as many as you like — one per piece of work — and follow each one to delivery.

Create a request

  1. From your dashboard, open Job requests and choose New job request.
  2. Fill in the brief:
    • Title & summary — what you want, in a line.
    • What you need done — the problem, what "done" looks like, and any background an expert should know.
    • Services — pick the kinds of work involved (we use these to match you).
    • Industry, budget band, timeline — these help us find the right expert.
    • Tools & channels — what you already use (Meta, WhatsApp, Sheets, …).
    • Success criteria & constraints (optional) — anything that defines a great result.
  3. Save draft to finish later, or Submit for matching when you're ready.

We pre-fill a few fields from your profile so you don't repeat yourself.

What happens next

Status Meaning
Draft Saved but not submitted — only you can see it.
Awaiting match Submitted. RAiN is lining up a verified expert.
Offered to an expert An expert has it and is reviewing the brief.
In delivery An expert accepted — your project has started.

When an expert accepts, your project begins with its milestones, and you'll follow progress just like any RAiN project. If an expert isn't the right fit, RAiN simply routes your request to another — you don't need to do anything.

Editing & cancelling

  • While a request is a draft, you can edit everything or delete it.
  • After submitting, you can cancel it any time before an expert accepts.

Your details stay private

Experts see your brief and general context (industry, city, budget band, timeline) when deciding — but your contact details are shared only after they accept. See Privacy, cookies & your data.
