Payments

You buy AI implementation as a managed service from RAiN: you pay RAiN for your project, and RAiN delivers it using a vetted expert that RAiN pays as a subcontractor. Payments are handled by Paystack — it collects what you pay RAiN through secure hosted checkout and pays experts to their banks. RAiN does not hold your money between payments — you pay per project, and RAiN records each payment and payout.

We never store your full card or bank account number. Card details stay securely with Paystack; we keep only a masked summary (e.g. card type and last four digits).

For businesses

Paying for a job

You pay RAiN upfront, when you post a job — before an expert is matched.

  1. Post a job brief with your exact budget. That budget is the price you pay (RAiN may quote a different price for custom scope).
  2. Go to Payments in your sidebar and tap Pay to check out securely with Paystack.
  3. Paystack collects the payment and settles it to RAiN; your job's status updates to Paid.
  4. Once paid, RAiN matches an expert and work begins. The expert delivers and submits it; RAiN runs a quality review.
  5. Once it passes, you review and approve the delivery. Approval marks the project complete, and RAiN pays the expert for their work.

The price you see is all-inclusive — there's nothing extra to work out. If we can't match your job, or you cancel it before it's matched, you're refunded to your original card.

Your card is saved automatically the first time you pay, so plan renewals are one click. You can also add a card under Settings → Payment method.

Your payments

Payments in your sidebar lists your jobs and each job's payment status, so you can see what's paid and what's still to pay. There is no stored balance — you pay for each job directly through Paystack checkout.

Invoices & receipts

Every priced project has a downloadable invoice. It shows as DUE before payment and becomes a PAID receipt automatically once you pay.

For experts

Getting paid

RAiN pays you as a subcontractor for the projects you deliver. When a business approves your completed, quality-checked delivery, RAiN records a payout for your agreed rate and pays it to your linked bank account through Paystack transfers. You see payout records and their statuses under Earnings — there's no stored balance; RAiN sends each approved payout to your bank.

Add your bank account

Before RAiN can pay you, link a Nigerian bank account:

  1. Go to Settings → Bank account.
  2. Choose your bank and enter your account number (10 digits).
  3. We verify the account name with your bank and save it securely (we keep only the bank and last four digits; full details stay with Paystack).

Your payout records

  1. Go to Earnings to see every payout and its status (pending approval, processing, or paid) and your total paid to date.
  2. Once a payout is approved, RAiN sends it to your linked bank account. Depending on settings, payouts are automatic or processed by our team, and may take a little time to settle. There's no fee for experts.

You must have a linked bank account before RAiN can pay you.

Job-response credits

On the free plans, responding to a job offer (accept or decline) costs 1 credit; you start with 5. Buy more under Settings → Job credits, or upgrade your plan for unlimited responses. See Accepting jobs.

Plans

Optional monthly plans (for both businesses and experts) add things like priority matching, featured placement, analytics, and more concurrent work. Manage yours under Settings → Plans & billing.
